Mitsu Chem Inaugurates Its New Khalapur Unit
A new state of the art plant with latest technology of Mitsu Chem Plast Ltd. at Khalapur was inaugurated on 27th Jan 2019, in presence of clients & stakeholders. The khalapur unit has the latest technology in plant and machineries to produce the wide range of moulded products for multiple industrial & domestic uses has commenced commercial production on 14th dec 2018. The unit is one of the first unit in India to have the widest range of products from 100 ml to 250 ltr size in plastic packaging industry.
Established n the year 1990, Mitsu Chem Plast Ltd. is listed on SME segment of BSE. The company made a modest beginning with a very small working place, limited production capacity, and a very few resources at hand. From the modest beginning the company has transformed itself into innovative solution provider and emerged as one of the fastest growing player and a force to reckon with the plastic industry thanks to constant innovation and introduction of new products in the hospital furniture, infrastructure and automotive parts.
The company has 3(Three) Units, 2(Two) at Tarapur and 1(One) at Khalapur, Maharastra and the capacity of all the units is 12000 MTPA of plastic moulded products. It has closed Rudrapur and Vasai units and has started new unit at Khalapur, Maharastra. The company has received the prestigious ET polymer award 2017 & 2018 for its products.
MCPL has reported turnover and net profit of Rs.133 cr./Rs.3.47cr.(FY18) and Rs.111.72 cr./Rs.2.44 cr.(FY17). For both these fiscals it has announced a dividend of 5%. As per unaudited reports it has posted a net profit of Rs. 1.88 cr. on a turnover of Rs.61.47 cr.on first half of current fiscal ended on 30.09.18. Company is confident of maintaining the growth pattern in top and bottom lines with new unit. As on 30.09.2018, its current paid up equity capital of Rs.4.02 cr. is supported with free reserves of Rs.21 crore plus.
